What does an Osteo consult look like?
Our osteopathic consults start with a thorough case history and examination (especially if its your first time). Our goal is to treat the root cause of your issue as best we can, so listening to you and taking the time to figure out what’s going on is critically important. Once this is done your Osteopath will go through a physical examination, so please wear clothes that are easy to move in if possible. The physical examination time can vary, for some cases it is only a few techniques, for others it will be a 5-10 minute process. After that they will kick off with treatment! This can include soft-tissue techniques, mobilisations, spinal manipulation, needling, cupping and more. If required your osteo will also walk you through any rehabilitation exercises that will be good for you to engage with.
Lets make a plan
Our goal is to get you feeling good and keep you feeling good. Your osteopath will talk with you about any lifestyle, postural or exercise modifications they would recommend as well as help outline how much treatment you should be expecting to get to achieve your desired result. These plans are flexible and built around you and your needs. Book an appointment to start your journey now.
